Holistic Health Coaching for a Healthier, More Connected Life

Your health is more than what you eat.

It is also how you live, how you feel, how you care for your body and how your daily habits shape your family's wellbeing.

FoodieMom is the holistic health practice of María José Gutiérrez, a certified Health Coach based in Montréal, Canada, helping individuals and families build healthier and more conscious lifestyles through nutrition, everyday habits and whole-person wellness.

Sessions are available online in English and Spanish.

A Whole-Person Approach to Health, four pillars:

Nutrition

Creating a healthier relationship with food and learning how everyday choices can support your wellbeing

Emotional Wellbeing

Recognizing that health is not only physical and making space for the emotional side of your journey.

Lifestyle

Exploring routines around sleep, movement, stress and the habits that shape your everyday life

Family Wellness

Creating healthier routines and a supportive environment for the people you love.

Health does not happen in isolation. Food, movement, sleep, stress, emotions, routines and relationships can all be part of the way we experience our wellbeing. My approach is about stepping back, looking at the bigger picture and helping you identify practical changes that fit your real life.

Health Coaching That Starts With You.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing.

Your lifestyle, your history, your family, your priorities and your goals are unique. That's why our work begins by understanding where you are today before deciding where you want to go.

Through personalized coaching, we look at your everyday habits and create realistic strategies that you can actually integrate into your life.

Meet María José

I'm María José, a certified Health Coach originally from Venezuela and now based in Montréal, Canada.

My own health journey — and later, becoming a mother — profoundly changed the way I understand wellbeing.

What started as a personal search to better understand my own body eventually became a professional path in holistic and integrative health.

Today, I share what I have learned through coaching, education, recipes and real-life experience to help other people and families build healthier lives.

  • From My Kitchen to Your Family

Food has always been at the heart of my work.

I believe the kitchen can be one of the most practical places to begin creating healthier habits — not because food is a cure-all, but because what we eat is part of our everyday lives.

Through FoodieMom, I share recipes, practical resources and ideas that make healthy living feel more approachable, enjoyable and sustainable.

  • A Different Kind of Health Journey

Sometimes, taking care of your health means asking better questions.

It means becoming more aware of your habits, learning to understand your body, seeking the right professional support and making thoughtful decisions about your lifestyle.

My role is not to diagnose or replace your healthcare team. My role is to educate, support and help you create sustainable habits that fit your life.
